Design Transfocality – (RE/DE FUTURING CITIES)

Nowadays, the issue of urbanization is getting worse. This affects people's physical and mental health; so in this project, I designed a new type of building to change people's lifestyle. The location I set is in Canary wharf, this area was wasteland before thirty years ago, but now it is London’s most lively financial area with many skyscrapers. This is a radical change. Also is the most urbanized place in London.

Finally, my outcome:
SUPER AGRO- NEW AGRICUTURAL CENTER- farming/ Organic food/ relax. In this building:
˙Ground floor- is supermarket- There are many green boxes here. It is a vertical farm device that sells fresh vegetables.

˙1F Café/ flower shop- People can have coffee, chat with friends. And buy fresh indoor planting flowers.

˙2F Restaurant/ practice class- In Restaurant have aquaponics system (C2C) and the practice class teach people how to cook health food.

˙3F Green roof-People can rest, relax or farming.
˙Vertical farm- Planting vegetables. (LED，MIST)
˙The future of the city: In the next 10 years, Super Argo will affect the surrounding banks to build more vertical farms.
